Shell Gadus S3 V220 C 2 is a superior quality multi-purpose grease for rolling bearings in industrial applications, which are used under varying conditions such as high and/or shock load, high temperature or humid environment.
Applications
- For use in the transport sector, Shell Gadus S3 V220 C is suitable for the lubrication of wheel bearings of all types of passenger cars and commercial vehicles operating under severe conditions (high operating temperatures due to frequent braking at high speed).
- Due to its good characteristics at high temperatures, the grease can also be used in heavily loaded bearings of pressure groups and in the bearings of electromagnetic brakes as they can be mounted on commercial vehicles.
Usage Advice
- The composition of Shell Gadus S3 V220C differs significantly from other greases.
- For this reason, we strongly advise against mixing the grease with other lubricants, especially since the occurrence of undesirable phenomena cannot be excluded in the intended applications and the associated long relubrication periods.
- If mixing greases is unavoidable (bearings relubricated by hand grease gun, chassis pivots), the first application of grease should be carried out in such a quantity that the emergence of the new grease can be clearly observed.
