Valvoline HD Extended Life Red RTU is an engine coolant for trucks, buses, road construction machines and industrial equipment, which fulfills the requirements of most leading heavy-duty engine manufacturers. The product is free of amines, borates and phosphates, which makes it friendlier to the environment.
Applications
- Valvoline HD Extended Life Coolant protects cooling systems against frost, corrosion and overheating for at least three years, 7.000 hours or 500.000 kilometers.
- The product is mixable with other coolants on basis of mono ethylene glycol, but that may shorten the long-life characteristics.
- It cannot be mixed with products on basis of Propylene Glycol.
- Valvoline HD Extended Life RTU is ready to use up to a freezing temperature of -38ºC. Adding water is not desirable.
- The product is suitable for use in HOAT, OAT, and Si-OAT application.

The formulation contains extra anti-scaling additives and corrosion inhibitors to prevent the build-up of performance limiting deposits. It can keep the cooling system working efficiently by keeping heat transfer surfaces and passages clean.
