Total Rubia Optima 3100 FE 10W-30 is a high performance lubricant specifically designed for heavy duty diesel engines (trucks, buses, rubbish collection trucks...).
Application
- Thanks to its "low-SAPS" technology (low ash, low phosphorus and low sulphur content), Total Rubia Optima 3100 FE 10W-30 protects the latest generations of diesel engines fitted with after-treatment systems such as particulate filters (DPF).
- Total Rubia Optima 3100 FE 10W-30 is specifically tailored for the Euro 6 engines of a wide range of manufacturers, including Mercedes-Benz, DAF, Renault Trucks and Volvo, with retro-application to earlier generations.
- Total Rubia Optima 3100 FE 10W-30 is particularly suitable for manufacturers' requirements of extended oil drain intervals, as is the case with DAF's MX engines.
- Total Rubia Optima 3100 FE 10W-30 is also suitable for MAN gas engines.
- This lubricant allows rationalisation for fleets of several makes (American and European manufacturers).
Features and Benefits
- FUEL ECONOMY technology saves on average 1% of fuel compared to a SAE 40 reference oil.
- Fuel savings can be up to 3% when using this engine oil together with FUEL ECONOMY transmission oils.
- It has excellent thermal stability.
- Its detergent, antioxidant and anticorrosive properties make it possible to achieve the longer drain intervals prescribed by manufacturers and to reduce maintenance costs.
- The detergent, dispersant and anti-wear additives combat engine pollution and ensure effective control of soot, sludge and piston deposits.
