Bardahl Blue Dye Tracer is a blue pigment that makes it easy to detect oil leaks in hydraulic systems in the food industry. NSF registered Category Code H1.
Applications
- Designed for easy detection and localisation of (small) leaks in hydraulic systems, reducers, and more within the food and pharmaceutical industries.

- No odour and taste, chemically and biologically inert, completely safe for human use, resistant to oxidation and rancidity, and water repellent.
- Provides insight into physical properties such as aspect (dark blue), density, and viscosity at different temperatures, which helps in assessing applicability and use.
Advice on use
- Use 200 to 500 ml to treat 100 litres of oil, depending on the desired intensity of blue colour on transparent oils.
