febi Gear Oil GL 5 (48785) SAE 75W-85 offers an additive technology that has proven its worth with OEMs. It can be used in a diverse range of applications and offers a base oil matrix including viscosity index improvers to enhance the shear-loss performance. Specifically-developed properties reduce friction loss in the interlock and bearing, increasing transmission efficiency while securing the function of locking differentials. Beyond this, use of this oil reduces the operating temperature of the oil sump during permanent operation. SAE 75W-85 has proven its worth in practice and has been developed in close cooperation with an automotive manufacturer.
Applications
- It is recommended that a full oil change is carried out when switching to this oil.
- However, it can be mixed - and is compatible with - other gear oils of the same specification
