febi Gear Oil DCT FG (171871) is a double clutch transmission oil which is exclusively used in the 6 and 7 speed DCT transmissions manufactured by Magna – specifically for the third generation GETRAG transmission. The requirements pertaining to decreasing friction, the reduction of emissions, and fuel economy are ever increasing. The febi/SWAG transmission oil fulfils these requirements thanks to its reduced viscosity and the well-balanced additive package which focuses especially on the very shear-stable viscosity index improvers.
Applications
- The DCTF-G oil is used in various models from Mercedes Benz, BMW, Ford, and Renault.
- The maintenance interval is subject to vehicle use and is approximately 36 months – or 75,000km (45,000 miles) – with a replacement service requirement of 4 litres of oil.
