TOTAL QUARTZ 9000 ENERGY 0W-40 is an engine oil based on synthetic technology that meets the requirements of the new ACEA A3/B4 and API SN/CF standards. 

Applications

  • Compliance with these new international standards allows the oil to meet the requirements of the latest petrol engines, as well as those of diesel engines that are not equipped with a particulate filter. 
  • The homologations obtained by TOTAL QUARTZ 9000 ENERGY 0W-40 make it a first choice engine lubricant for the aftermarket. It is suitable for a wide range of engines and for many makes, in particular: Mercedes-Benz, Smart, Porsche, Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda and Ford.
  • It is suitable for both normal and the most demanding conditions of use (door-to-door, sporty driving style, repeated acceleration, city, highway...) and this in all seasons.

  • Engine protection: This lubricant provides a very high level of engine protection and prolongs the life of all the engine components. The protection level is 20% higher than the official ACEA wear test!
  • Protection of the anti-pollution systems of petrol engines: This lubricant also ensures optimal operation of the three-way catalytic converter by preventing clogging with contaminants. This notably reduces NOx, KWS and CO emissions.
  • Engine cleanliness: This oil provides the best possible protection in its class against deposits in all conditions: from the moment the engine is started, during cold starts and at very high temperatures.
  • Easier starting: The 0W-40 grade, together with special additives, makes it easier to start the engine, both at very low and very high temperatures (ideal for start-stop systems, for example)
